EDGE opens 30 September 2026 · Last updated: 21 September 2026
From 30 September 2026, the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) is combined with the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) and Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) into one grant: EDGE. Talk to us to check how EDGE applies to your HR software purchase.
What is included?
Opensoft HRMS (also known as OpensoftHR) is a comprehensive package of 8 software that empower companies to automate their key human resource processes:
EDGE is Enterprise Singapore’s combined business grant. It brings together three earlier schemes: the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for adopting IT solutions, the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) for business upgrading, and Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) for overseas expansion. Companies now make one application instead of choosing between three.
Unlike PSG, EDGE is also open to companies that are not SMEs.
For full scheme details, see Enterprise Singapore’s EDGE grant page.
| HR Process | Common Manual Challenge | How OpensoftHR Improves Productivity |
|---|---|---|
| Payroll Processing | HR teams need to calculate salaries, CPF, deductions, and payslips manually. | Automates payroll calculations and generates itemised payslips more efficiently. |
| Leave Management | Employees submit leave through messages, forms, or manual requests. | Allows employees to apply for leave online with digital approval workflows. |
| Feature | Common Pain Point | How OpensoftHR Helps |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud and mobile ESS access | Employees depend on HR for payslips, leave status, claims updates, and personal record changes. | Employees can access HR information, submit requests, and update details through the ESS portal from mobile, tablet, or laptop. |
| Payroll and itemised payslips | Manual payroll queries and payslip requests can take up HR’s time. | Employees can view digital itemised payslips, while payroll information remains better organised within the HRMS. |
| Leave and claims management | HR teams may spend too much time tracking leave balances, approvals, and reimbursement requests manually. | Employees can apply for leave, submit claims, check approval status, and track updates through the system. |
| Time attendance tracking | Attendance records can be difficult to monitor when employees work across different locations or schedules. | Staff can clock in and out through the mobile T&A app, with attendance date and time stamps recorded in the HRMS. |
| Performance appraisal module | Managers may lack a clear way to monitor KPI progress and employee achievements in real time. | Companies can set KPIs, track appraisal progress, and give employees visibility over their targets and performance updates. |
| Employee communication | Company updates may be missed when announcements are scattered across emails or chat groups. | Employees can view the latest announcements from the dashboard whenever they log in. |
| HR productivity and retention support | Repetitive admin work can reduce HR’s time for employee engagement and performance support. | By centralising routine HR tasks, OpensoftHR helps HR teams spend less time on manual follow-ups and more time supporting workforce planning, communication, and employee experience. |

HR systems fulfill two main functions. They help you manage and automate the admin side of the business – like managing time off, storing your team’s personal data securely & onboarding new members to the team. HR software should also help make work better for your team – this could be through providing perks, giving them the chance to give you feedback or by allowing you to run a structured performance review process.
For the Starter package, it will be a monthly/annual subscription fee. You can contact us if you want to proceed to use the Starter package.
For the Enterprise package, please contact us via the enquiry page for our consultant to reach out to you and have a better understanding of your business. This will facilitate our recommendation of application modules that are most suited for your business. We will then prepare a quotation for your approval.
We safeguard your information from the moment you sign up. Refer to our privacy policy and terms of service for more information.
